Erik is a widely respected jump coach, who specializes in pole-harness jump technique. Erik has assisted in coaching many National, International, World and Olympic level athletes and is passionate about teaching. He strives to ensure his skaters develop into the athletes they want to be. In addition to his on-ice coaching achievements, Erik has presented at Professional Skaters Association annual conferences, and has served on the Board of Directors of the Broadmoor Skating Club. 

He currently coaches in Colorado Springs at the Broadmoor World Arena.  Over the years we have had athletes from our club travel there to specifically work with Erik.  It is a treat to be bringing him in.

About the Pole Harness: The Coach is able to direct the take-off curve, keep the Skater straight in the air, and keep the Skater's back in position upon landing. Down-time due to injury can be minimized. You will be able to instill confidence in your Skater's ability to do the difficult jumps and have them avoid practicing mistakes. 

The private lesson requests are tiered so that those doing triple jumps have first priority since they need him for the pole harness.  Intermediate on up can start requesting lessons now.  Preliminary - Juvenile can start requesting lessons Wednesday, 3/1.  Freeskate 1 - Pre Preliminary can start requesting lessons on Friday, 3/3.  After Sunday, 3/5, if there is still time remaining you may request more than one private lesson. Group Classes:  The cost of the class is $75.00 and we will divide the cost between the number of skaters that show up for the class and you will be invoiced later.  For example, if 3 kids show up it is $25.00 per kid, if 10 kids show up then it is only $7.50 per kid.  They do this in Colorado and sometimes there are up to 17 kids in a class but they all benefit and have structured time. The skaters can come to any of the classes that fit their level!  If they can't make it no big deal, if they can great!    We will invoice you at the end of the weekend for whatever classes your skater signed in for.
