During the camp, skaters will be introduced to the different figure skating disciplines including: freestyle, ice dance, and synchronized skating.
Please make sure you are pre-registering online for all your sessions and off-ice classes that your skater(s) are planning to attend. If you need to cancel, you MUST email Jessica BEFORE the session occurs at jessica.walker@parkcity.org.
Additionally, please make sure that your skater checks in with the front desk for all Freestyles sessions, Public Skate sessions and ice arena Off-ice classes. They must also check themselves in manually for all early morning freestyle sessions. This is how the rink is tracking attendance for potential contact tracing information should it become necessary.
A few important things to note regarding participating in Club Ice with PCSC:
Volunteer opportunities have opened for fall club ice monitors. This is a great way to fulfill your volunteer obligation while watching your skater practice. For questions about Ice Monitor roles and responsibilities contact Club Ice Coordinator Angie Lampert at angeladawnlampert@gmail.com

This is a friendly reminder to please send your skater's SafeSport certificate to our compliance coordinator Andy Biskup: andybiskup@yahoo.com
This year's club membership requires skaters to complete their age-appropriate SafeSport module in order to be in good standing with the club. Click here to access the SafeSport page with the age-specific trainings. All are free and should take 10-15 minutes, depending on your skater's age.
The U.S. Center for SafeSport is an independent 501c(3) non-profit organization focused on ending all forms of abuse in sport. For more information about the organization and it's mission visit uscenterforsafesport.org.
We are also thrilled to announce FSCPC’s partnership with the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) for the upcoming year - with potential for an ongoing partnership.
PCA/FSCPC will be offering seven workshop opportunities this year - separate trainings for coaches, parents and athletes. More information will be sent out as available. The club is providing the workshops free to our members, but we will be asking all skaters/parents to purchase the $6 PCA workbooks, which will be used throughout the year.
PCA/FSCPC Mission: To educate and actively support the Figure Skating Club of Park City in providing youth athletes valuable, non-cognitive skills that will benefit them in athletic competitions, classroom, community and career. Positive Coaching Alliance seeks to change the culture of win-at-all cost to developing Better Athletes, Better People by teaching life lessons through sports, and educating coaches and parents to do the same.
The Positive Coaching Alliance has reached over 19 million youth athletes through 3,500 organization partnerships across the country. For more information, please visit the PCA website and/or watch this 2-minute video.
