Park City Ice Arena Updates

Have questions or concerns? Here are the answers on where to go!

Park City Ice Arena closure

Park City Ice Arena will be closed August 1st through September 12th for maintenance and repairs. Programming will begin mid-September.

Registration for Fall programs will open in August.

Ice time during the closure

Freestyle ice time during our closure is available at any of the Salt Lake area rinks. To be noted: Cottonwood Heights Ice Arena will also be closed in August. Please touch base with your coach or coaches with the best option for your skater.

Freestyle changes when the rink reopens

As a reminder, the ice arena will be transitioning to the new software platform upon reopening. At that time, the freestyle rate increases from $8 to $9/hour, as well as a return to 1-hour freestyle sessions will occur. We have increased the maximum capacity for freestyle sessions to 30 skaters in anticipation of this change.

Coming This Season:

  • New Facility Software:
  • Freestyle Duration: Transitioning from 20 minute to hour long sessions
  • Freestyle Price Increase:
    • Availability and discounted rates for pre-sales, punch cards and season passes is still to be determined. The renewal of Platinum season passes is currently on hold.

We will be emailing the fall freestyle and off-ice schedule in August. Pre-registration for Ballet/Dance program at the MARC will be required again. All other off-ice classes will be pre-registration per class.
