Try Hockey for Free! 2/23 at 4:30pm

This event provides kids, ages 4-12, a free clinic to try ice hockey. No experience is necessary and equipment is available at no charge. Helmets with facemask, gloves, shin guards, elbow pads, and skates are required.


Welcome to new coach Kelly Cassity!

Kelly will be transitioning over the next 6 months or so. She is currently the director at the Oval. Kelly is very excited to join our team in Park City!

2/25 - Freestyle 7-10am

All freestyle sessions will require online registraton through Park City Ice Arena.


Spring Show Details

  • The Greatest Show On Ice
  • Performance DatesFriday May 5th, 7pm & Saturday May 6th, 4pm
  • School performance morning of Friday May 5th for full club members - 9:30am
  • Registration Deadline: February 1st
  • Cost:
    •  Full Club Members & 2nd year Aspire skaters auditioning for a part - $150 ($100 show fee + $50 costume fee).
    • 1st year Aspire & 2nd year Aspire skaters doing the Aspire number - $50 ($30 show fee + $20 costume fee) - the Aspire number will rehearse during regular Monday Aspire program time, the only additional commitment is the picture day, dress rehearsal, and the performances.

TRYOUT DETAILS - monday, february 6th

  • Date: Monday, February 6th 4:30-6:15pm
  • All skaters participating in the show must try out, EXCEPT for Aspire skaters who are doing the Aspire number
  • Please wear all black
  • Skaters are allowed to bring and use props for their try out 
  • The show directors will be casting lots of small group numbers, along with duets, trios, solos and a few other special parts that skaters of all levels will be considered for.
  • Skaters must choose one of the four tryout songs and choreograph their own program. No help from coaches is allowed. 
  • Music can be found and downloaded from this page (to the right) by January 13th. Music will also be available on the keycard at the rink.
  • Judges will score each skater using the IJS judging system for Showcase events. While skating skills will be considered, judges really want to see skaters perform for entertainment value and "wow factor".
  • Tryout results/parts will be emailed out and posted on this page by the end of February

DESCRIPTIONS OF CHARACTERS/PARTS

All characters and parts will be adapted from the movie. We suggest watching the movie, but keep in mind that our show will be a modern twist on the original movie. Characters will maintain some personality traits, but the storyline and roles will be adapted to match the demographics of our skaters/cast.

Please review rehearsal dates carefully. Skaters must attend all rehearsals, or make arrangements with show directors, in order to be in the show

  • Thursday 4/20 4:15-6:45pm
  • Monday 4/24 4:30-6:15pm (cancels some club ice & Aspire program)
  • Thursday 4/27 4:15-6:45pm
  • Monday 5/1 4:30-6:15pm (cancels some club ice & Aspire program)
  • Technical Rehearsal : Wednesday 5/3 3:45-5:15pm (full club only, no Aspire or Skating Academy)
  • Dress Rehearsal : Thursday 5/4 4:15-6:45pm (ALL cast)

Save the Date- March 17 & 18 - Spring clinic with Yura Min

Save the date - March 17th & 18th for a spring clinic with 2018 Korean Ice Dance Olympian, Yura Min. There will be 4 smaller groups divided by level for maximum benefit. This clinic is appropriate for all skaters, basic skills, free skate, ice dance and recreational. Limited private lessons will be available too.

The clinic schedule is being finalized and will be emailed soon. Registration will open in February.

New member meeting February 13th at 5:30pm

We would like to invite all our new members to an informal round table discussion to answer your questions about being a new member of the Figure Skating Club of Park City. Questions about rink vs. club programs, spring show, competitions and testing, volunteering and fundraising as well as anything else will be addressed.

Join us Monday, February 13th from 5:30-6:15pm during the Aspire program at the far end of the lobby.

Holiday Show Survey

The Board of Directors and the Holiday Show Committee would like to gather your anonymous feedback about your experience with the 2022-2023 Holiday Show. These responses will be shared with the FSCPC Board of Directors and the Holiday Show Committee to improve the show experience for next season!

Upon completion of the survey, you may choose to participate in a drawing for $25 in Club Cash (a credit to be used to offset the cost of club purchases like club ice time, punch passes, spring show registration, etc.) If you would like to participate in the drawing, you will be provided a link at the end of the survey that directs you to a separate form to collect your name and email address. Winner will be selected Sunday, February 5th.

Oval Spring Challenge registration open

The Oval Basic Skills Spring Challenge Competition

The competition will be held on Friday, March 24 – Saturday, March 25 with a dance, moves, and free skating test session on Sunday, March 26, 2022.

YSA Spring Scholarship opens soon!

  • The Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) offers need based scholarships to deserving athletes who are enrolled in YSA member clubs. The purpose of the YSA Stein Eriksen “Dare to Dream” Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to dedicated athletes who are unable to participate or compete without the help of outside funding. Funds for the scholarship are provided by the Stein Eriksen YSA Opportunity Endowment and scholarship donations given during the annual JANS Winter Welcome.
  • YSA Stein Eriksen Dare to Dream Scholarship is for athletes training with YSA Member Teams
  • Spring Scholarships will have two application periods to accommodate as many different post-seasons schedules as possible, please apply for one
    • Application Period A: Feb 1- Feb 28th
    • Application Period B: March 15- March 31st
