Hadley is a Triple Gold Medalist, a FSCPC junior coach, Junior Board member, a Park City High School Figure Skating Team member, and a recipient of the US Figure Skating Graduating Senior GOLD award. She will be attending the University of Georgia in the fall, majoring in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Design.
“I started skating when I was 7 years old through the Bunny Hops program and fell in love with the sport immediately! My very first spring show was “Off To Neverland”, where I was in the Bunny Hops group number and performed as the fish in the orange tutu! I have over 10 years worth of fond memories with this club, but one that stands out to me was skating as Sandy in last year’s spring show “Grease” and performing the Summer Nights and Hand Jive group numbers! I had so much fun learning the group numbers during rehearsals and I really enjoyed representing such an iconic character on the ice doing what I love to do!"
Brynn is a US Figure Skating Quadruple Gold Medalist, a FSCPC junior board member, a FSCPC coach and spring show choreographer, a Park City High School Figure Skating Team member and a recipient of the US Figure Skating Graduating Senior PLATINUM award. Brynn will be attending the University of Denver this fall, majoring in Physiology in Health and Disease and minoring in Spanish. She will also be skating with the DU Intercollegiate Figure Skating Team.
“I have been a member of the Figure Skating Club of Park City since 2009. My first spring show was as a bunny in the first spring show FSCPC ever produced in 2009, “Viva Las Vegas”. I have had the opportunity to perform in every single show since then and I wouldn’t have it any other way. In my 15 years of competitive skating, I have competed in regional, sectional, national, and International competitions that would not have been possible without the tremendous amounts of support from the FSCPC. I would truly not be the person I am today without my team of coaches and fellow skaters that have been there with me every step of the way. FSCPC is a club that not only teaches skating, but preaches the joy and lifelong friendships skating has to offer. My favorite memory would probably be from FSCPC’s holiday show last December where I skated my program with the curtain open and all of our club members watched.”
From Learn to Skate to Bunny Hops to Sectionals, Nathalie has been a club member since 2011. Nathalie joined when the first group of FSCPC seniors was graduating, and now she is a graduate too! A Moves in the Field Gold Medalist, she is also a US Figure Skating Graduating Senior Gold award recipient.
“A few of my best memories from being with the club are performing at many of the spring show performances; including my favorites, The Jungle book and Alice in Wonderland. Another would be the annual summer camp which was a good chance to meet other skaters from all over the country. My figure skating career wouldn’t have been possible without the help of the YSA scholarships which I am entirely grateful for. I will continue skating beyond high school performing with the Ice Theater of Utah while starting classes at Salt Lake Community College”.
Chloe is a Triple Gold Medalist, a FSCPC junior board member and past president, a Park City High School Figure Skating Team member, and a recipient of the US Figure Skating GOLD award. Chloe is our only club member to have competed in the NQS series, the Excel Series, and the Solo Dance Series and reached the final in all 3 series. Chloe will be attending the University of Michigan in the fall to study Computer Science and Sustainability.
“I first joined the club in 2013 after participating in YSA’s Get Out and Play program! I then joined bunny hops, fell in love, and the rest is history. My first spring show was Off to Neverland and I was fish, but much to my dismay, I also had to wear arm floaties and a tutu. Nonetheless, my fondest memories with the club have always been getting ready for the shows because of everyone’s anticipation and excitement, as well as the locker room dance parties.”
Congratulations to Meredith Hall: our 2023 recipient of the Yvonne M. Dowlen Trophy. Each year, the trophy is presented to our oldest competitor. Meredith is 83 years old and she is the first masters-level skater to receive the trophy. The trophy was presented by our youngest competitor, Emelyn Haynie, who turned 21 a few days before the entry deadline. We were joined by 2 past trophy recipients today: Molly MacGowan (2021) and Connie Curry (2019 and 2022). Together, these athletes remind us that skating is a lifelong sport!
Hannah is a U.S. Figure Skating DOUBLE Gold Medalist! Hannah passed her Senior Free Skate at Skate Vegas and we couldn’t be prouder!
What an outstanding and absolutely gorgeous skate for our 2023 Championship Masters Pairs Silver Medalists at the Adult Championships! We couldn’t be prouder of Erin and Coach Chris! So much hard work and dedication!
