Like many things, the cost of running an ice arena continues to increase. We work hard to minimize the impact on patrons while providing an exceptional facility and high-quality programs. We are approaching the beginning of a new Fiscal Year and want to review the fees and processes likely to impact you. If you want to see all the fee changes, the City's Fee schedule is linked below. Fee increases are effective for sessions beginning July 1, 2023.

While we encourage you to register at least a day in advance, however, pre-registration is available online up until the end of the session through your athlete's DaySmart account (from the Drop-In Events page). If space is available, skaters not registered can still attend the session, and an additional $1.00/per session fee will be applied to skaters requiring registration through the front desk following the session.

Having athletes pre-registered a day in advance minimizes time diverted from lessons for coaches to take attendance during the session. Additionally, for Freestyle, some weekly sessions are approaching capacity. Having skaters pre-registered secures a spot when/if it reaches capacity. Freestyle sells out at 30 skaters per hour, and while we have yet to reach capacity, we may within this next year. 

Please anticipate the following fee increases, effective for activities beginning July 1, 2023

There is no penalty for canceling more than 24 hours prior to the start of the session. Unfortunately, our software does not allow a participant to change or cancel a session. If you need to cancel or change a freestyle session more than 24 hours in advance, please do so through the front desk during business hours (9 am - 8 pm, and sometimes later). Please call 435.615.5707 to reach the front desk.

Cancellations within 24 hours are limited to new sickness or injury and should be sent to Tim.Francis@parkcity.org. Tim will process these refunds during his shift, so while they will often be processed the same business day, please be patient, as it may take up to three business days if the requests fall on his days off.

Please make sure to pre-register for off-ice classes as well as freestyle sessions. Freestyle and Off-ice registration are separate.

All Skating Academy students will also receive a coupon code for six (6) public skate sessions with skate rental. Coupon codes will expire the last day of class.

We will have a group level appropriate for our Aspire skaters as well! Another great opportunity to get more time on the ice!
