FUNDRAISING POLICY & REQUIREMENTS

Members of the Figure Skating Club of Park City are required to participate annually in the club’s fundraising efforts. Annual membership dues cover only a portion of the FSCPC operating costs. We require approximately $40,000 in fundraising dollars to cover club expenses each year. Proceeds from our fundraisers benefit ALL FSCPC club skaters and are used to help subsidize many different activities including, but not limited to, coaching fees, training equipment, ice costs, social activities, and enrichment clinics.

WHO IS REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN FUNDRAISING?

Full, Introductory, Adult and Aspire members are required to participate annually in FSCPC fundraising efforts.  All other membership types do not have any fundraising requirement, but are encouraged to support fundraising activities.

WHAT ARE THE MINIMUM ANNUAL FUNDRAISING REQUIREMENTS?

·       Each club member is responsible for generating a minimum of $100 per fundraising year, July 1st – June 30th.  Aspire members are responsible for $25.

·       If a skater does not meet the minimum requirements, the skater will be billed for the shortfall at the end of the club year.  In order for your USFSA membership to be renewed for the following club year, all outstanding fundraising shortfall invoices must be paid.

FUNDRAISING BUYOUT OPTION

If you would rather not participate in fundraising, FSCPC has a buyout option.  The current annual fundraising buyout fee is $100 and is non-refundable.  The buyout option is available when you register for FSCPC Membership.

WHAT IS THE REWARD SYSTEM?

Skaters who exceed fundraising goals are on their way to earning rewards!  Full, Introductory, Aspire, Adult and Collegiate Club members that fundraise $500 or more will earn reimbursement rewards that can be used to offset skating costs.  Rewards are capped at $599 for the club year to remain in compliance with 501(c)(3) laws.  Rewards will be issued at the end of the club year, in June, and will be paid out by Zelle or Check.  More details can be found here.

WHAT ARE THE FUNDRAISERS?

FSCPC offers several fundraising options annually throughout the year to allow families flexibility in the type and timing of their fundraising efforts.  All fundraising will count toward the 10 unit fundraising requirement.
