We will be holding a dress/costume swap/sale during Club Ice (3:30-5:30) on Monday, October 9th. Volunteers needed!

Please take a moment to sign up for one of our volunteer committees here.  Our club runs on volunteers—we need your help!  You will also have the opportunity to learn more about committees and chat with committee chairs at our Annual Meeting on November 13th.  This is a great way to earn your required volunteer hours.  You can view club volunteer requirements here.

Join the Junior Board!

Did you know that the Figure Skating Club of Park City has a Junior Board comprised of skaters aged 12 and older?  The Junior Board helps with club activities and plans events/parties for club members.  Applications for Junior Board membership are accepted on a rolling basis.  If your skater is interested, please contact Liz Williams at l-jwilliams@comcast.net.

Being a part of the junior board is a great way to get some leadership experience for college applications!

SELL! SELL! SELL!

As a reminder, each club member is responsible for generating a minimum of 10 “fundraising units” or $100 per fundraising year. Aspire members are responsible for 2.5 fundraising units or $25.  You can view fundraising requirements here.  An easy way to get your fundraising done is to solicit donations for silent auction items for Jans Winter Welcome or to sell Opportunity Tickets for a trip to Paris to see the 2024 Summer Olympic Games.  Contact Angie Lampert if you have questions about silent auction items or if you have secured an item at angeladawnlampert@gmail.com

This week’s JWW Opportunity Drawing Ticket top sellers are Brynn Roberts (10), Awstyn Knight (6), Kate Pressgrove (6) & Darya McGill (4).

Keep selling those tickets!  The itemized report is available HERE

JANS WINTER WELCOME UPDATE

FRIDAY IS THE FINAL DAY FOR AUCTION DONATIONS

All donations must be submitted by Friday, October 6th.  100% of proceeds raised from the donations we bring in come directly back to the Figure Skating Club of Park City.

Two ways you can help:

  1. We are looking for gift certificates to local businesses and goods or services donations.  Reach out to restaurants, service providers, shop/store contacts, etc. that you enjoy in town and ask for a donation.
  2. We are also still looking for an additional high value item (over $2500) such as airfare (sky miles, flight certificates), vacation properties or a business experience.  Please contact Angie Lampert at angeladawnlampert@gmail.com if you have any ideas that can help with this.

**Any auction items secured will go toward your skater’s $100 fundraising requirement and rewards.

Check the club website here for more information on submitting silent auction donations.

JWW EVENT VOLUNTEERS - WE NEED HELP!

JWW is looking for 10-15 volunteers from our club on October 27th-29th to make this event a success.  You will earn credit toward your FSCPC volunteer requirements by volunteering for this event.  If you are interested, please look though the volunteer request google sheet and then send your name, email and which position you are interested in to Angie Lampert, angeladawnlampert@gmail.com, (913) 219-4780.

Click HERE for JWW volunteer request list.
